Depart from your hotel at 9:00 AM for a full day exploring the city that gave Portugal its name.

Begin in Porto’s UNESCO-listed historic center, with visits to the Cathedral, São Bento Station’s famous tile panels, Avenida dos Aliados, and Clérigos Tower for panoramic city views. Continue to Livraria Lello, one of the world’s most beautiful bookstores, then stroll along Rua das Flores to the Church of São Francisco, known for its gilded interior and catacombs.

Enjoy free time for lunch in the Ribeira district by the river. Afterwards, cross the Dom Luís I Bridge on foot to Vila Nova de Gaia for a visit and tasting at a renowned Port wine cellar.

In the afternoon, discover another side of Porto: Foz do Douro and its seaside promenade, the Boavista district, and the striking architecture of Casa da Música. End the day at Serralves Park, with its gardens, sculptures, and Treetop Walk, before returning to your hotel by 7:00 PM.
