One-Day Trip

Depart from your hotel at 8:30 AM and travel to Peso da Régua through the stunning Douro Demarcated Region.

Our first stop is the Douro Museum, the region’s leading museum dedicated to vineyards and wine.

Next, visit a Douro wine estate for a vineyard picnic with house wine—a relaxing moment in the heart of the valley.

Continue to Pinhão for a short visit to one of the Douro’s most beautiful railway stations. Built in the 19th century,

it is famous for its tile panels depicting Port wine production, from grape harvest and treading to transport by rabelo boats downriver to the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.

From Pinhão, board a traditional rabelo boat for a Douro River cruise. 

End the day at the Casal de Loivos Viewpoint, with panoramic views of Pinhão and the Douro River,

followed by a visit to an estate with an olive oil museum for olive oil and wine tastings. Return to Porto,

with arrival at your hotel expected by 6:30 PM.
